The Xiaomi Mijia Magnetic Reading Lamp has made its debut on the shelves of Xiaomi Youpin. Commencing crowdfunding at 10:00 on August 30th, it carries a price tag of 69 yuan (about $9).
As per the official introduction, the Mijia Magnetic Reading Lamp boasts a 36cm extended lamp head, ensuring a wide-angle light source that effectively blankets the entire desktop. The entire unit produces a luminous flux of up to 150lm. Through the utilization of an optical lens texture design, the emitted light undergoes multiple refractions, thereby mitigating irritation.
Employing specially curated lamp beads, this lamp achieves a color rendering index of Ra90. Furthermore, the product has successfully cleared biosafety tests conducted by professional bodies. Its blue light evaluation is at an RGO exemption level, ensuring the absence of video flashes. Operating the light switch is as easy as a light touch, while brightness adjustment involves a prolonged press. Clear visual icons facilitate three levels of brightness modification.
The Mijia magnetic reading lighthouses a capacious 2000mAh built-in battery. Official claims assert its endurance of 4.5 hours even at the highest brightness setting. It supports multi-angle adjustments for the lamp head (up to 25° in both directions). This facilitates the discovery of a suitable fill light position, tailored to distinct lighting requirements, and allows for distancing from direct light.
Moreover, the magnetic base of the Mijia Magnetic Reading Light features a 3M double-sided adhesive. This eliminates the necessity for drilling holes during installation. The lamp head can be effortlessly detached and either affixed magnetically or used handheld for illumination.
