The Redmi K70 series is expected to be launched by Redmi later this year. Moving to the present, the Redmi K70 Pro version of the lineup has now appeared on the Geekbench platform, revealing its core specifications. Geekbench 5 has shown the benchmark scores of Dimensity 9200+. The single-core score is 1882 points, and the multi-core score is 4536 points. These scores indicate an improvement compared to the current 8 Gen 2.

MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ has taken a different approach, removing the energy efficiency core and using a “full large core” concept. Both of these changes aim to enhance the CPU’s performance.

However, product details often change based on manufacturers’ needs. What’s certain is that the K70 Pro’s main components will consist of flagship-level materials.

Regarding peripheral configuration, the entire series will feature a 2K ultra-narrow bezel flat screen, without plastic brackets. Additionally, lower-priced models will have 1.5K and 2K resolution screens. The main focus remains on a “popular flagship configuration.” Redmi also aims to popularize 24GB of large memory.

Simultaneously, the Redmi K70 Pro will have a combination of 5120mAh battery and 120W wired fast charging. The mainstream configuration still includes 100W fast charging combined with a large-capacity battery. Although the industry has pushed for 240W wired fast charging or higher, the limitation is the battery capacity. In contrast, a solution that balances fast charging and battery life is more appealing.
