Google is on the verge of launching the Google Pixel Watch 2. The FCC certification agency recently uncovered this, and the device also resurfaced in the Google Play Console device catalog. These leaks have unveiled crucial smartwatch specifications.

Notably, the Pixel Watch 2 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 chip, providing a substantial performance boost over the first-generation Exynos 9110 chip. This translates to a smoother user experience and enhanced multitasking capabilities.

In terms of memory, the Pixel Watch 2 will maintain a 2GB memory configuration. This will contribute to improved system efficiency and quicker application loading speeds. The Pixel Watch 2’s screen will sport a 1.2-inch circular AMOLED display, boasting a 383 x 384-pixel resolution and an impressive screen density of up to 320 ppi. Consequently, users can anticipate superior image quality, crisper text, and more defined icons.

Operating on the WearOS 4 system developed by Android 13, the Pixel Watch 2’s interface design and functionality will receive a significant overhaul, promising users an enhanced experience. Notably, Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic are also set to be the first smartwatches featuring the WearOS 4 system.

Concerning options, the Google Pixel Watch 2 will offer three models: G4TSL, GC368, and GD2WG. Among these, the G4TSL model will support both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections. Users can tailor their watch further by choosing from a variety of strap styles, including plastic active straps, metal mesh straps, metal chain straps, and metal thin straps. This extensive selection aims to cater to the unique preferences of each user.
