In a follow-up statement after the conference, Lu Weibing, the President of the Redmi brand and a key figure in the Xiaomi Group, elaborated on the rationale behind Redmi’s decision to embrace the post-performance era. He also explained the strategic significance of their deep collaboration with MediaTek and Pixelworks.

Weibing emphasized that the Dimensity 9200+ integrated within the Redmi K60 Ultra is unlike any other chip. This particular chip platform was jointly conceptualized by Redmi and MediaTek around two years ago. He highlighted how the Dimensity 9200+ leverages the enhanced capabilities of Xiaomi Fury Engine 2.0, seamlessly blending the foundational technological architectures of both software and hardware.

Delving into the project’s origins, Weibing revealed that from the outset, Redmi and MediaTek forged a strong partnership with a shared mission akin to a “military order,” committing to a collective effort to raise the bar. This dedication led both entities to invest unparalleled resources and meticulous effort into refining the chipset from its core.

Reports suggest that the Redmi K60 Ultra has surpassed the 1.77 million mark in the AnTuTu V10 benchmark, securing the top spot among Android devices. Enhanced by the dedicated X7 graphics chip and the powerful engine 2.0, this device promises to deliver an unparalleled and unprecedented user experience.
