Realme has officially exposed its flagship series Realme GT5 and aptly dubbed the “Resurgence of the God of War” in its promotional campaign. While the exact release date remains undisclosed, reports suggest that the realme GT5 will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform.

During the China Joy 2023 event in Shanghai, China, realme showcased the “Realme GT5” advertising plaque, fueling speculations of an imminent grand reveal. As a pioneer among Android phone manufacturers, realme has earned a reputation for delivering exceptional performance and groundbreaking designs, heightening the excitement for the forthcoming launch of the realme GT5.

Regarding the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 mobile platform, the processor harnesses TSMC’s advanced 4nm process and comprises eight cores categorized into four types with varying frequencies. These include a dominant Cortex-X3 super core clocked at an impressive 3.36GHz, two Cortex A715 main cores running at 2.80GHz, two Cortex A710 central cores also operating at 2.80GHz, and three Cortex A710 small cores clocked at 2.02GHz. This formidable combination establishes the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 as one of the leading processors among Android phone manufacturers.

Moreover, Xu Qi announced that Realme would launch a new model of the Neo series before the Realme GT5. The model, likely the GT Neo 6 series, has already surfaced online and will be available for global sale as GT5.
Realme GT Neo 6
Xu Qi revealed Realme’s plan to launch a new Neo series model before the Realme GT5. This announcement followed the reception of Tenna certificates for the upcoming devices, RMX3820 and RMX3823. The forthcoming GT Neo 6 model will likely have a 6.74-inch 1.5K resolution display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming support. The Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor will power the phone, offering a robust configuration of 24GB RAM and 1TB storage.
Earlier bloggers speculated that Realme’s high-end product line with the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor would be named Realme GT5. Furthermore, they expect the Pro version of this product line to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor for enhanced performance.
