DJI Released the new DJI Air 3 drone, featuring a revolutionary dual-camera system. Starting price will be 6988 Yuan(about $977).
With an integrated design and two main cameras, the DJI Air 3 offers users an expansive shooting field of view and superior picture quality. The wide-angle camera is perfect for capturing vast landscapes. In contrast, the medium-telephoto camera ensures three times lossless image quality and adds a striking sense of spatial compression to your photos.
Equipped with two 48-megapixel main cameras, the drone boasts impressive specifications. The wide angle is 24mm with a focal length f/1.7 aperture. The medium-telephoto is 70mm with a focal length of f/2.8 aperture. Both lenses have a 1/1.3-inch sensor and digital zoom. Wide-angle zoom with 1-3x—medium-telephoto zoom 3-9x.
Compared to its predecessor, the Air 2S, the DJI Air 3 brings five significant upgrades. Firstly, it introduces the dual primary camera configuration with a 70mm medium telephoto camera and a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor. Secondly, the video transmission system has been enhanced with the latest 04 high-definition video transmission and supports the DJI-enhanced video transmission module.
The DJI Air 3 is the first UAV with an omnidirectional visual perception system in the DJI Air series. It supports the advanced APAS5.0 flight assistance system. The battery life is significantly improved, providing a 46-minute flight time – a 48% increase from the previous generation.
Lastly, the Air 3 has intelligent features such as waypoint flight, advanced return, cruise control, and high-speed mobile phone transmission, making it a powerful and user-friendly tool for drone professionals.
The DJI Air 3 (N2) cost is 6988 yuan ($677). For those interested in the Air 3 with the free flight package, which includes the N2, the price is 8488 yuan ($1186). Alternatively, the Air 3 free flight package with the RC 2 is 9688 yuan ($1354). RC2 and the DJI image transmission module are available at 10387 yuan ($1452).
