On the evening of July 12, Honor unveiled the Honor Magic V2 and the final addition to their lineup, the Honor Smart Screen 5 series, during a product launch event. The Smart Screen 5, available in 65-inch and 75-inch sizes, was officially announced with an initial price of 3,699 yuan and 4,899 yuan, respectively. The smart TVs are set to be available for purchase starting July 20.

The official presentation states that the Honor Smart Screen 5 offers a high color depth of 1.07 billion colors and a wide color gamut equivalent to DCI-P3 cinema standards on its screen. It provides a truly immersive viewing experience with a screen-to-body ratio of over 98%. The TV supports 4K HDR10 decoding and uses AI-PQ and AI-SR technologies to enhance image quality and viewing experience.
This device caters to the needs of both casual gamers and professional gaming. Moreover, its full-range VRR capability from 48Hz to 144Hz and a remarkable 240Hz high-refresh-rate.
Smart Screen 5 has the 4K flagship chip MT9653. As a result, it has become the first smart TV to receive Tencent START cloud gaming’s highest four-star certification.

Additionally, the Honor Smart Screen 5 is the first product in the smart TV market to feature MagciOS. This operating system offers various functionalities, including call sharing, application connection, excellent recording, and screen splitting. Moreover, the TV has a powerful 50MP AI ultra-wide-angle camera, complemented by the integration of MagicOS and the AI camera.
