Xiaomi has introduced various accessories for Mijia air-conditioners in recent years, aiming to enhance the user experience of their products. One notable addition is the Mijia Health Filter, which now includes a built-in mosquito-repellent module. Xiaomi has also recently introduced new and improved filters, such as the filter with the MIFD purification module.
The Mijia health filter has three components: a negative ion generator, a primary filter, and a dust collection sheet. It has a 99% removal rate for PM2.5 and pollen, effectively removing these particles. Additionally, it can decompose bacteria, viruses, and other airborne contaminants. The filter demonstrates a high removal rate of 99% for Aspergillus niger and Staphylococcus albus and a high inactivation rate for the influenza A virus H1N1.
The Mijia Air Conditioner Health Filter has a particle CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) of 270 m3/h. Xiaomi’s official release claims it provides “4500 liters of clean air per minute.” The filter integrates with Mijia air conditioners through a conversion interface, eliminating the need for an extra power socket as it powers both the filter and the air conditioner. The filter typically lasts 3 to 6 months and can be easily replaced for reuse when exhausted.

The Mijia Air Conditioner Health Filter (MIFD Purification Module) is priced at 399 yuan, with an introductory offer of 100 yuan off for the first 100 customers, bringing the price down to 299 yuan. The pricing for replacement filter elements is currently undisclosed.
