On June 26th, Gizcoupon reported that Samsung recently unveiled Pokémon-themed wireless earbuds in South Korea. Consumers can now purchase the Pokemon edition of Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. These are the follow-up products to last May’s release of the Galaxy Buds 2 charging case themed after Pokemon Poke Balls. They received much acclaim from consumers.
The Pokémon edition of Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are priced at 129,000 Korean Won (approximately $98) and 199,000 Korean Won (approximately $152), respectively. These Pokemon-themed sets come in three designs: Ditto, Jigglypuff, and Snorlax. In addition, the sets include wireless earbuds, a Pokemon-themed charging case, and stickers.
Consumers can make their purchases through the G Market website starting from June 27th, Beijing time. The Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro in Ditto and Snorlax styles will also be available at the Samsung Gangnam store on June 29th, Beijing time.
Over the past few years, Samsung has introduced various Pokemon-themed accessories. They include limited-edition protective cases for Galaxy Buds 2, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, Galaxy Watch 5, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 4.
