On June 3rd, Gizcoupon reported that OPPO launched the OPPO Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro in China in August 2022. Now, new watch products have been exposed. According to the Weibo(a Chinese social platform) blogger @数码闲聊站, the upcoming smartwatch from OPPO may skip the number “4” and be named the OPPO Watch 5 series.
The codename for the OPPO Watch 5 is “Comet,” featuring a square display with curved edges. It will feature a 570mAh battery and support eSIM connectivity. The watch will also come in white and black carbon fiber tones.
As a comparison, the OPPO Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro have 400mAh and 550mAh batteries, respectively.
In addition, the OPPO Watch 5 series is expected to be launched alongside the OPPO Find N3 foldable screen smartphone. OPPO plans to release the Find N3 in the third quarter of this year.
According to the leak, the OPPO Find N3 will feature an 8-inch OLED LTPO internal display. It supports Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also have a 6.5-inch FHD+ 120Hz external display.
The OPPO Find N3 will have a rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera (with OIS support), a 48MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera. Additionally, it will feature a 20MP front camera on the internal display and a 32MP front camera on the external display.
The OPPO Find N3 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a 4805mAh battery, supporting 80W fast charging. It will also come with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
