On June 3rd, Gizcoupon reported that Axios, an American news website, recently published the results of a public opinion poll titled “100 Favorite Brands in the United States.” The survey by Axios indicates that American consumers seem to have a greater preference for Samsung over Apple.

Upon reviewing the rankings, Gizcoupon discovered that Samsung and Japanese automaker Toyota have swapped positions, with Samsung dropping one spot to seventh place. The company received a score of 84.6 in the category of products and services, placing it fifth.

Apple, on the other hand, demonstrated a strong presence on the list, climbing 11 spots from last year to secure the tenth position. Nevertheless, it still lags behind Samsung. Amazon maintained its position from last year, ranking eighth.

The top spot is claimed by the high-end eco-friendly apparel brand Patagonia, which advanced two places from the previous year. Warehouse club discount store Costco soared 24 places to secure second place. John Deere, a machinery equipment brand, secured the third position.

LG, also hailing from South Korea like Samsung, climbed nine spots this year, landing at the 18th position on the list. Japanese companies also exhibited strong performances, with Sony (12th), Honda (13th), and Subaru (16th) all making it into the top 100.

Among other companies, Adidas and BMW from Germany claimed the 22nd and 24th positions, respectively. Chinese social media platform TikTok ranked 94th. Microsoft secured the 15th spot, Google placed 35th, while Meta and Twitter ranked 96th and 97th, respectively. Tesla secured the 62nd position.
