On June 2nd, Gizcoupon reported that vivo has recently launched the S17 series in China. Additionally, it will also introduce the vivo V29 series globally, following the release of new products, including the vivo Y78 and vivo Y36. The vivo Y27 has made an appearance on the Google Play Console and is now showcased on the NCC website, featuring actual device images.
The vivo Y27 5G with model number V2248 has been discovered on the NCC website. It exhibits a green color scheme in its design, with a rectangular camera module on the rear. The module consists of two camera sensors, surrounded by a circular frame and accompanied by an LED flash. The device appears to have a seemingly flat back and front, along with straight edges on the sides.
NCC certification confirms that the vivo Y27 5G will have a 5000mAh battery and support 44W fast charging. The Google Play Console certification indicates that the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset (formerly known as Dimensity 700), featuring two 2.2GHz primary cores and six 2.0GHz efficiency cores, coupled with a Mali G57 GPU for graphics. It will also come with 6GB of RAM and will come pre-installed with Android 13.
The vivo Y27 is expected to feature a 6.44-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. On the rear, it will have a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth lens. Additionally, there will be an LED flash on the back and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies.
