On May 29th, Gizcoupon reported that Xiaomi is expected to release the Xiaomi 14 series later this year. Now, leaks about Xiaomi 14 Pro is starting to emerge.
According to information shared by the Weibo blogger @数码闲聊站, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is said to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset (SM8650). Additionally, it will feature a built-in 5000mAh battery. The device is expected to support either 90W or 120W fast charging, as well as 50W wireless charging.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor (SM8650) is an advanced mobile processor with a 2+3+2+1 architecture. It includes Arm “silver” cores (Hayes, A5xx), Arm “gold” cores (Hunter, A7xx), Arm “titanium” cores (Hunter, A7xx), and an Arm “gold+” core (Hunter ELP, Xn). The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor doesn’t support 32-bit Android apps, requiring developers to update to 64-bit. It features the Adreno 750 GPU (770MHz) and supports Android 14 and Linux Kernel 6.1. It’s manufactured using TSMC-enhanced 4nm or Samsung’s 3nm process, offering excellent performance and graphics for mobile devices.

The leaks suggest that the Xiaomi 14 Pro may come in both straight-screen and curved-screen variants. The straight-screen model is expected to support 90W fast charging, while the curved-screen model will support 120W fast charging. Furthermore, there are predictions of an upgraded camera module featuring the WLG high-transparency lens sensor (Note: provided by AAC Technologies).
