On May 23rd, Gizcoupon reported that OPPO officially announced on their Weibo account that the brand-new OPPO Reno10 series smartphones would be released on May 24th at 14:30 Beijing time. The phones will come in “Brilliant Gold,” “Twilight Purple,” “Overflowing Blue,” and “Lunar Black” color schemes. The promotional posters and videos showcase the design of the new devices. It features an oval-shaped protruding camera module on the back.
OPPO has officially started the pre-launch campaign today. Moreover, the entire OPPO Reno10 series will come with a telephoto lens as standard and will be paired with OPPO’s Super Night Portrait algorithm. The official statement mentioned that it would adopt a “golden portrait focal length of 47mm” and a self-developed RGBW ultra-sensitive array, resulting in a 60% improvement in light sensitivity.
According to OPPO, the Reno10 series will have the Super Night Portrait Telephoto lens, featuring a 1/2-inch sensor, 64-megapixel resolution, and ƒ/2.5 aperture. Additionally, it will inherit the portrait effects from the Find X6 series. With a weight of 194 grams, the device manages to incorporate “the telephoto lens, 125W flash charging, and a 4700mAh battery” within a body that weighs less than 200 grams. With a thickness of 7.68mm and a weight of 186 grams, it features the Dimensity 8200 chipset along with MariSilicon X and SUPERVOOC S power management chips. In terms of battery, it will have a built-in 4600mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.
