Xiaomi Router 7000 Goes On Sale Today: Full 2.5G Network Ports, Starting At 799 Yuan

Gizcoupon reported on May 9th that the Xiaomi Router 7000 is officially available for purchase, with a price of CNY 799 (approximately $115). This router is equipped with Qualcomm’s IPQ 9554 processor, with 1GB of memory and 128MB of flash memory. In addition, it has 4 2.5G network ports, which can stably connect up to 600 devices.

According to Qualcomm’s official website, the IPQ 9554 processor is also known as the Networking Pro 620. It is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 network platform that supports 6 data streams. The processor is built on a 14nm process and features four A73 cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz. The version used in the Xiaomi Router 7000 appears to be a 1.5GHz version.

In terms of speed, the 2.4GHz band of the Xiaomi Router 7000 is equipped with two high-performance signal amplifiers. The theoretical speed of the 2.4GHz band can reach 1376.1Mbps, while the maximum speed of the 5GHz band is 5764.8Mbps. It also supports dual WAN / dual LAN with a maximum aggregation of 5Gbps.

Regarding antennas, the Xiaomi Router 7000 has 7 external antennas and 2 internal antennas. They include 4 single-frequency antennas for 2.4G and 4 single-frequency antennas for 5G, as well as an NFC antenna.

In addition, the Xiaomi Router 7000 also has exclusive acceleration for Xiaomi devices and can intelligently recognize Xiaomi/Redmi phones, opening a dedicated acceleration channel for gaming. It also supports software acceleration for devices such as PS, Xbox, Switch, PC, and mobile phones, reducing game delay and lag.

Notably, this router’s model number is not written as AX7000 or BE7000. Xiaomi’s customer service told Gizcoupon that this router will be upgraded to support Wi-Fi 7 in the future, so please stay tuned.
