Gizcoupon reported on May 8th that Samsung will release the Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable phone in July or August this year. Recently, a transparent protective case for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 has been revealed. It reveals the larger size of the “folder” design’s secondary display and side fingerprint recognition feature.
Now, @Ice universe has released a series of renderings of solid-colored Galaxy Z Flip 5 protective cases. It further confirms the design of this new foldable phone.
Previously, there were rumors that the secondary display of this foldable phone would merge with the phone panel when closed. In addition, there are rumors that the secondary screen and surrounding frame may have a color tone that matches the phone.

Rumors suggest that Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 (SM-F731U) will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chip. The body size is approximately 165 x 71.8 x 6.7mm. In addition, it has a 6.7-inch internal screen (main screen) and a 3.4-inch external screen. (Note from Gizcoupon: The rumored aspect ratio is 1:1.038). It also has a rear dual camera. Moreover, the larger external screen will provide more functions, such as viewing notifications, music control, and other basic functions, without the need to unfold the device.
