Gizcoupon reported on May 6th that the OPPO A98 5G smartphone had received multiple certifications and will launch in China soon. According to MySmartPrice, the full specifications poster of this smartphone has now been leaked.
The poster reveals that the OPPO A98 5G will feature a 6.72-inch centered-punch LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports side-mounted fingerprint recognition embedded in the power button. On the back of the phone is an oval-shaped camera module with anti-fingerprint and scratch-resistant features.
In terms of optics, this smartphone will have a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary sensor and two 2MP lenses (with a 40X macro lens), as well as a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.
The poster shows that it will feature a Snapdragon 695 5G chip with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It has a built-in 5000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging (officially claimed to provide 6 hours of talk time after just 5 minutes of charging). It also features a battery health engine to extend the battery life. The phone comes pre-installed with ColorOS, based on Android 13.
The OPPO A98 5G will be available in two colors, Dream Black and Cool Blue.
