On May 5th, Gizcoupon reported that @i冰宇宙 shared information about the outer screen of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 on Twitter. According to the tweet, the resolution of the outer screen is 720*748, with a size of 3.4 inches and a pixel density of 305 PPI.

Previously, Gizcoupon reported that the phone has a size of about 165 x 71.8 x 6.7mm, with a 6.7-inch inner screen (main screen) and a 3.4-inch outer screen (secondary screen), as well as a rear dual camera. The larger outer screen will provide more functions, such as viewing notifications, music control, and other basic functions, without the need to unfold the device.

Multiple sources previously reported that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 (SM-F731U) will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset. It features a 3.4-inch secondary screen with an aspect ratio of 1:1.038. Users can interact with notifications, quick settings, and widgets without opening the phone, and it can also serve as a better camera viewfinder.

Samsung has not yet released an official statement regarding the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5’s release date. However, rumors suggest that the phone will be available later this year, possibly in August or September.
