Redmi 12 Certified by TKDN: 5000mAh Battery + 33W Fast Charging

Gizcoupon reported on May 5th that back in March of this year, Xiaomi’s Redmi launched the Redmi 12C smartphone in India. It was priced below 10,000 Indian rupees (approximately $122). Now, a new model, the Redmi 12, has appeared on the Indonesian TKDN certification website.

According to reports, the upcoming Xiaomi device, with the model number 23053RN02A, has been approved by the Indonesian TKDN authorities. Additionally, this model is similar to the previously discovered 23053RN02Y/L in the IMEI database. It suggests that 23053RN02A may be the Indonesian version of the Redmi 12.

Previously, FCC certification revealed that the Redmi 12 smartphone has a built-in 5000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. It is expected to come with the Android 13-based operating system pre-installed.

As a reference, the lower-end Redmi 12C device features a 6.71-inch 720×1560 LCD screen. Moreover, it has a MediaTek Helio G85 chip, 3GB-6GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB expandable storage. In terms of camera, it features a 50MP primary rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. In terms of batteries, it has a 5000mAh battery.

It is worth noting that the Redmi 12 series is the successor to the popular Redmi 11 series, which was launched last year. The Redmi 11 series received a positive response from the market due to its affordable price and decent features.
