Tesla Model S/X Vehicles Cannot Be Ordered Through Official Websites in Countries Such As Australia And Thailand

According to Gizcoupon’s report on April 30th, Reuters revealed that countries such as Australia, Thailand, Singapore, and New Zealand are currently unable to order Tesla Model S and Model X through Tesla’s official website. It should be noted that Model 3 and Model Y are still available for purchase as usual.

At present, it is unclear why this situation has occurred. As of the time of Gizcoupon’s report, Tesla has not responded to this incident.

As previously reported by Gizcoupon, Tesla recently launched new models of Model S and Model X. The new Model S has a range of 715 km on the CLTC cycle, a top speed of 250 km/h, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration of 3.2 seconds. Moreover, it has five seats and a 100 kWh battery. The dual-motor all-wheel drive Model S starts at RMB 789900 (about $114,276), while the three-motor all-wheel drive Model S Plaid starts at RMB 1009900 (about $146,104).

The new Model X has a range of 700 km on the CLTC cycle, a top speed of 250 km/h, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration of 3.9 seconds. Moreover, it has seven seats and a 100 kWh battery. The price of a dual-motor all-wheel drive Model X is RMB 879900 (about $127,296), while the price of a three-motor all-wheel drive Model X Plaid is RMB 1039900 (about $150,444).
