Lava Blaze 1X 5G Released: Dimensity 700 Chip + 50MP Main Camera

Gizcoupon reported on April 28th that the Indian domestic manufacturer Lava had listed a new model, Blaze 1X 5G, on its official website. This is a follow-up to the Blaze 5G smartphone, which was launched in October last year.

The Lava Blaze 1X 5G phone has a 6.5-inch 90Hz 720×1600 LCD display and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. It features a 50MP primary camera on the rear, two secondary cameras, and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies.

The Lava Blaze 1X 5G phone has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Moreover, it can be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card and supports 5GB of virtual memory. It has a 5000mAh battery with support for 15W charging (although it comes with a 12W charger).

However, this phone comes with the older Android 12 system. The body size of 165.3 x 76.4 x 8.9 millimeters and weighs 207 grams. It also supports fingerprint recognition and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is available in two colors: Glass Green and Glass Blue, and the price has not yet been announced.

Compared to the original Blaze, the new model has a slightly smaller screen (6.5 inches compared to 6.52 inches) and a faster charging speed (15W compared to 10W). As a point of reference, the Blaze 5G phone with 6GB of RAM currently sells for INR 12,000 (approximately $146).
