According to Gizcoupon’s report on April 21st, the tech blogger “数码闲聊站” revealed that the Xiaomi Civi3 supports 5G network roaming in different networks. It allows it to access 5G signals in areas where the user’s carrier may not have coverage without the need to switch SIM cards.
For instance, if a user is using a SIM card from carrier A and there is no 5G coverage from that carrier in their current location. However, carrier B has 5G coverage, the Xiaomi Civi3 will prioritize connecting to carrier B’s 5G signal. This is a first of its kind when different operators in China do not communicate with each other.
A Xiaomi 5G phone model with the code name 23046PNC9C has recently completed the Compulsory Certification of China(3C) process. It is suspected to be the Xiaomi Civi3. The certification information indicates that the Xiaomi Civi 3 comes with a 67W power output charger, which means it supports 67W fast charging.
Previously, there were rumors that the Xiaomi Civi3 would come with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor. Additionally, it has a dual front camera setup with two 32-megapixel Samsung S5KGD2 sensors. The rear camera adopts the main camera of the Sony IMX800 outsole. The screen supports a high refresh rate of 120Hz, and the battery capacity is 4500mAh.
