Gizcoupon reported on April 22nd that Transsion Itel had expanded its smartwatch series in India by introducing the Smartwatch 2ES as the successor to the previously announced Smartwatch 1ES last June.
The ItelSmartwatch 2ES has a design that somewhat resembles the Apple Watch, with a rotating crown on the right side. Additionally, it features a 1.8-inch display with a resolution of 240 x 286 pixels, a peak brightness of 500 nits, and a screen-to-body ratio of 90%, with an IP68 protection rating.
For fitness tracking, the Itel Smartwatch 2ES comes with a heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, and sleep tracker. It can also track over 50 different sports modes.
The Itel Smartwatch 2ES has Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, allowing users to make phone calls using the built-in speaker and microphone. It supports dial pad access, recent call logs, and frequently contacted people. It has an AI voice assistant and controls for smart home devices. Other features include weather details, camera and music controls, and notifications. It is powered by a 240mAh battery that can reportedly last up to 12 days.
The Itel Smartwatch 2ES sells for INR 1,699 (approximately $20) and is available in City Blue, Red, Green, and Teal colors.
