Gizcoupon reported on April 21st that Xiaomi had expanded its existing F2 Fire TV product line in Europe by introducing a new model – a 32-inch LED HD television. The television supports a resolution of 1366 x 768, a refresh rate of 60Hz, and a 178° viewing angle. The Fire TV interface allows users to stream content from popular applications such as Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube. Additionally, users can wirelessly share content from Android, iOS, or Mac devices using Miracast or AirPlay.
Xiaomi F2 Fire TV 32-inch LED TV has built-in 10W speakers that provide stereo sound and are compatible with Dolby Audio, DTS Virtual:X, and DTS-HD. It also supports Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi connections. Alternatively, users can choose to connect external devices using HDMI, USB 2.0, Ethernet ports, or a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The 32-inch television comes with a quad-core CPU, 1.5GB of memory, and 8GB of storage, running on the Fire OS 7 system. Xiaomi claims that the new model features a bezel-less design, resulting in a higher screen-to-body ratio. Users can also control the device and other smart home appliances using Amazon Alexa voice commands, or the included remote control. The remote control has dedicated buttons for Alexa, Prime Video, and Netflix.
Xiaomi has not yet disclosed the release date or price for the F2 Fire TV 32-inch model, but it is expected to be priced similarly to the 43-inch model, with a retail price starting at €399(≈$438).
