Gizcoupon reported on April 21st that iQOO is preparing to launch new phones. It was revealed that the iQOO Neo 8 and iQOO Neo 8 Pro would be released in May this year. The latter is expected to be the first phone in the world to be equipped with the Dimensity 9200+ chipset. Additionally, the iQOO 11S, which uses the same chipset, is expected to be released in Q3 this year. New information shows that iQOO is currently developing the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro flagship phones. According to Weibo blogger @数码闲聊站, the new iQOO 12 series will feature 200W fast charging and a built-in 5000mAh battery.
In July 2022, the iQOO 10 Pro introduced 200W wired charging. Moreover, the iQOO 11 Pro, released in January of this year, also offers this feature. These smartphones have not yet been released in markets outside of China. Previously, the standard versions of iQOO 10 and iQOO 11 offered 120W charging.
In January of this year, @数码闲聊站 claimed that the standard version of the iQOO 12 series would offer faster-wired charging and a wireless charging solution. Furthermore, it has an expected 50W wireless charging capability.
The iQOO 12 series is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and released at the end of 2023.
