According to Gizcoupon, on April 17th, Lenovo launched the Tab M9 tablet in December last year. It is now available for sale on Amazon for approximately $150 (Gizcoupon note: currently about 1,031 RMB).
This tablet is equipped with a 9-inch HD+ LCD screen and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 processor. It comes in three storage options: 3+32GB, 4+64GB, and 4+128 GB.
As an entry-level tablet, the Tab M9 doesn’t have any standout features. It lacks fingerprint recognition, NFC, or WiFi 6, but it does support face unlocking, Dolby Atmos, WiFi 5, and Bluetooth 5.1. The tablet comes with Android 12 out of the box, with an upgrade to Android 13 available in the future and at least three years of security updates.
The tablet measures 214 x 137 x 8 millimeters, weighs 344 grams, and features a 2MP front-facing camera and an 8MP rear camera. It has a built-in 5100mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging and comes with a USB 2.0 Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
As an affordable option for consumers, the Tab M9 may not be suitable for users who require more advanced features. However, it is a practical device for those who need a tablet for basic tasks, such as browsing the web, checking emails, or streaming videos.
