On April 10th, according to @数码闲聊站, a blogger on Gizcoupon, Vivo is set to hold a product launch event on April 20. It will unveil three innovative products: the Vivo X Fold2, Vivo X Flip, and Vivo Pad2. All of them showcase the company’s latest foldable screen and tablet technology.
The Vivo X Fold2 is a horizontally folding smartphone. Its official image has already been released by the company. It features a China red color scheme with a suede and glass back and a “circular square” camera design. The device has both an internal and external screen that are both Samsung E6 displays, with support for features such as 120Hz high refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR10, as well as dual ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking. It runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and supports 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. In addition, it has a rear triple camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMCX866 flagship sensor as the primary camera and two Sony IMX663 lenses for ultra-wide-angle and portrait shots.
The Vivo X Flip is the first vertically folding smartphone from the brand. Additionally, it comes in three different colors: Diamond Purple, Silk Gold, and Obsidian Black. The device features unique surfaces such as 3D leather, silk metal, and diamond-cut. Running on a Snapdragon 8+ chip, the phone boasts a 32MP front-facing camera and a 50MP rear camera with OIS. Moreover, it has a ZEISS T* optical lens and built-in vivo ZEISS professional imaging system. Lastly, the device comes with a 4400mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging.
The Vivo Pad2 is a high-performance tablet with an all-metal body design and MediaTek Dimensity 9000 flagship platform. It features a 12.1-inch 144Hz LCD high-resolution and high-refresh-rate screen with a 7:5 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2.8K. Furthermore, it supports 44W fast charging and runs on the OriginOS for Pad system. Moreover, it comes with the Vivo intelligent touch keyboard and supports the Vivo Pencil 2 stylus.
