Gizcoupon has reported on April 10th that Redmi is set to release the Redmi Watch 3 Lite smartwatch. It has been certified by IMDA and SIRIM in Singapore. This suggests that an official release will happen soon.
While the IMDA certification page does not reveal any configuration information, previous reports by Gizcoupon indicate that the Watch 3 Lite features a rectangular design, a built-in 2.87V lithium-ion polymer battery, Bluetooth 5.0 support, and a physical button. The appearance of it is said to be a blend of the Redmi Watch 2 Lite and Redmi Watch 3.
Real-life images of the Watch 3 Lite have also been released. These images were initially spotted on the website of the National Radio Research Agency (NRRA) in South Korea. From the images, it can be seen that the smartwatch features a rectangular display with slim bezels.
While there is no official release date yet, the Redmi Watch 3 Lite’s passing of certifications in both Singapore and Malaysia suggests that it will be available in those markets soon. It is expected to be an affordable smartwatch, similar to previous models released by the brand.
