April 6th news, Xiaomi has started to roll out the MIUI 14 stable version beta update for its Mi 10 Ultra Commemorative Edition. The update, which has a download size of 4.3GB, is based on the latest Android 13 system and comes with several upgrades to enhance user experience.
The new update focuses on the photon engine architecture, which offers comprehensive acceleration for both system and third-party applications, resulting in smoother and more power-saving performance. It also brings in new personalized visual effects, on-device privacy capabilities, and on-device image and text recognition.
One of the most significant changes in the new update is the upgrade of the Xiao Ai assistant from a voice assistant to an intelligent personal assistant, consisting of a series of intelligent products such as Xiao Ai Voice, Xiao Ai Vision, Xiao Ai Translation, and Xiao Ai Calling. The new assistant is set to offer more seamless and personalized experiences to users.
Additionally, Xiaomi Smart Cards now support more types, including multi-brand digital car keys and university campus cards. The system settings can retain search records and display search results in groups, making it easier for users to find what they’re looking for.

Furthermore, MIUI 14 offers a significant system simplification and smaller memory usage for long-term use. It ensures that all processing is local, with zero data uploaded to the cloud, and covers more than 30 privacy scenarios.
The upgrade for the Xiaomi Miao Xiang Center provides comprehensive acceleration and the ability to connect to more devices. Meanwhile, the new upgrade for the Family Services feature allows for sharing various services with loved ones.
