At today’s event hosted by OnePlus, the company launched not only the much-talked and much-anticipated OnePlus Ace 2 flagship smartphone and its first tablet, dubbed the OnePlus Pad, but also a new pair of headphones. OnePlus’s first Ace series noise-canceling headphones, called the OnePlus Buds Ace, are recommended by the PEL (Peace Elite Professional League). The price is 249 yuan ($37).
OnePlus said that it had reached a cooperation with the Peace Elite Professional League to jointly tune the sound quality and low latency to achieve the ultimate full-link gaming experience. It supports the Peace Elite PEL game sound effects.
The OnePlus Buds Ace is the exclusive launch of BassWave dynamic bass. The headphones come with an adaptive intelligent adjustment. In addition, this headset uses a “dual-core noise reduction chip.” The latter brings an active noise reduction (ANC) with no ear pressure.
In terms of endurance, the total battery life of the OnePlus Buds Ace is up to 36 hours. Thus, it’s is 6 hours more than the Nord Buds with a similar design. At the same time, this product supports flash charging. Once charged for 5 minutes, it can last for 10 hours.
In terms of connectivity, it has a built-in game-grade Bluetooth 5.3 chip, and the delay on the earphone end is as low as 47ms. So the chip provides a more stable and lower-latency connection during games.
At present, the OnePlus Buds Ace has been put on the shelves. There are two color options of monologue and open black. It will start shipping on February 13.
P.s. The company also released a new keyboard. “The OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro is not only a new addition to our ecosystem, but also the first product to come out of our OnePlus Featuring co-creation platform.”
