The Huawei P series has always focused on photography. That’s why it’s quite logical that many mobile photography enthusiasts are waiting for the next-gen model cameraphone, which should be the Huawei P60 series.
Huawei P60 camera
Today, a Weibo tipster revealed that the series would sport the Sony IMX888 main camera, an IMX858 ultra-wide-angle lens, and an OV64B telephoto lens that supports 3.5X optical zoom.
At the same time, the Huawei P60 series is expected to be the first model of the Sony IMX888 sensor. The blogger said that the parameters of the engineering machine are the same, but the pixel specifications after cropping are different.
Not only that, the main camera of the Huawei P60 series supports variable aperture. This technology has been installed on the previous Mate50 series. Through the ten-speed, freely adjustable physical variable aperture, you can obtain more flexible blur effects. In other words, this function can greatly improve the ability of the optical image system and obtain the desired depth of field and blur degree by adjusting the aperture size.
We should also recall the early leaks that the Huawei P60 will use the IMX789 sensor as the main camera, while the Huawei P60 Pro will use the IMX888 sensor. Both modules are 1/1.4-inch outsoles.
The rest
Under the hood, this phone should house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G. It’s said that all specifications remain the same but the 5G network support.
What’s more interesting, the machine will support satellite message function. There will also be an emergency mode, X-axis linear motor, infrared remote control, and IP68 dustproof and waterproof.
According to previous rumors, Huawei will launch two flagship series this year. One of them will be the P60 series, while the other will be the Mate 60 series. The former is expected to be released around March this year, and the latter around September.
