After being the talk of the town for many months, recently, OPPO released the Find N2 series in China. What’s more interesting, the company released not only the successor of the traditional folding screen smartphone but also a clamshell handset. Immediately after the launch, we learned that the OPPO Find N2 Flip would become available for purchase globally soon. By the way, our readers from India should keep their fingers crossed because there is no word whether this handset will land in their country or not. But getting back to the global launch, it seems to be around the corner. Why we are so confident in this is that the Find N2 Flip has been leaked on the Geekbench website.
The listing confirms some selling points of the OPPO Find N2 Flip. Let’s get into details in order to understand whether something will change in the international variant or everything will remain unchanged in comparison to the Chinese variant.
As you understand, our protagonist will challenge the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. The listing shared by 91mobiles shows that the phone would house a Dimensity 9000+ SoC. Yes, you are right that is the same chip found in the Chinese variant of the clamshell handset.
Other than that, the Geekbench listing also confirmed that the OPPO Find N2 Flip global variant will have at least 8GB of RAM. But we shouldn’t rule out the possibility that the handset might come with larger memory. The handset will also have 128GB of native storage. But we guess that in some markets, it will get even up to 256GB storage.
OPPO Find N2 Flip in GeekBench
In the listing, the phone has the model number CPH2437. We mention this because it’s managed to spot on the NBTC and GCF certification websites. The latter is said to run on the latest Android 13 system. But as you guess, the company will add its own skin on top of it, Color OS 13.
Now, let’s talk about its performance. We mean many users recognize only one smartphone chip, Snapdragon. So when they hear about Dimensity or other mobile chips, they think those are scams. But we should remind them that the Dimensity 9000 is much faster than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Anyway, the OPPO Find N2 Flip scored 906 and 3132 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
It turns out that the global version of the OPPO Find N2 Flip will have no differences in comparison to the Chinese variant. This also means that it would sport a 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In the center, we can also see a hole-punch cutout, which will house the 32MP selfie shooter.
There is also a secondary display on the opposite side. It is 3.26 inches. The latter supports a 60Hz refresh rate. Plus, we have a dual-camera module on the back, which includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 lens and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor.
Under the hood, the OPPO Find N2 Flip has a 4300mAh battery. The latter supports 44W fast charging.
As for the price, in China, it costs 5999 yuan ($889). But in the international market, it will surely cost much more. We guess the phone’s price will exceed $1000.
