Like many other Android brands, Redmi launches Note-line models twice a year. There are many reasons why all those companies act in this way. But the most important is that the industry gets tons of innovations in a short period of time. So the manufacturers have to commercialize them. Well, even if ignoring this fact, launching new models twice a year intensifies sales. In this regard, the Redmi Note lineup, which is positioned as a small flagship, is going to get a new member soon. We are talking about the Redmi Note 12 Turbo (Note 12T).
Recently, a Weibo tipster said that the Redmi Note 12T would be equipped with the unreleased Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 processor. In its turn, the latter will be paired with 12GB of memory and up to 512GB of storage.
Before this, the same source said that the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 would be built using TSMC’s 4nm process. Its architecture is ahead of the Dimensity 8 series processors. So not surprisingly, it scores over 900,000 on AnTuTu, tying the Dimensity 8200.
The LCD screen of the previous generation Note 11T series is of good quality. However, the Note 12 does not continue to use the LCD screen. Instead, it uses a 6.67-inch OLED screen that supports a 120Hz high refresh rate. So the Redmi Note 12T will continue to use this screen as well. It will add to the cost of the phone. But if you want to attract more customers, OLED is a better choice.
In addition, the machine will have a rear triple camera consisting of a 50MP+8MP+2MP sensors combination. The 5500mAh battery is going to support 67W fast charging through a USB Type-C interface. Also, we are sure that the handset will provide day-lasting endurance.
