Earlier this month, VIVO’s sub-brand released the iQOO 11 and the Pro version in China. At that time, we learned that the global versions of the phones would go on sale this week. By the way, Thailand will be the first market to meet the new phones. As for India, which is another important market for iQOO, it will start shipping this handset in early 2023.
Recently, VIVO confirmed that the iQOO 11 series would launch in India on January 10 next year.
iQOO 11 highlights
As for the selling points, the iQOO 11 and Pro are equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Plus, there is the company’s in-house made V2 chip. The 6.78-inch Samsung E6 material LTPO 4.0 AMOLED display supports 144Hz refresh rate and 1440p resolution. The two phones are pre-installed to run the Android 13 system. The Indian version runs Funtouch 13.
The iQOO11 series also developed its FALCON graphics engine. Combined with AI algorithms and underlying computing acceleration capabilities, the phone can restore screen details such as shadows and materials.
There are some differences between these two. For instance, the iQOO 11 Standard Edition smartphone comes with a 5000mAh battery supporting a 120W fast charging, while the iQOO 11 Pro supports 200W and comes with a 4700mAh battery capacity. Another major difference is the camera combination of the Pro variant. The latter includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 13-megapixel portrait camera.
The rest of the selling points include NFC, infrared remote control, optical fingerprint, dual X-axis linear motors, dual pressure-sensitive controls under the screen, and closed dual stereo speakers.
The series starts from CNY4,099, which is about $590 or INR49,000. The Pro variant is at least CNY4,999, which is $715 or almost INR60,000. But there is still no information on whether the Indian versions will have similar prices.
