Another day cam and other sets of official information concerning the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 13 and the Pro variant appeared on the net. From the posters released today by Xiaomi, we can learn that besides the series of smartphones above, the company will also launch many accessories, such as smartwatches, TWS earphones, etc.
Xiaomi Mi 13 Pro set
The company published a couple of posters showing the actual look of the accessory products. What caught our eyes is that the main color Xiaomi focuses on this year is green (officially, it’s called Wilderness Green).
The special set includes the Mi 13 Pro 512GB version (ceramic), a plain leather protective case, Mi Buds 4 semi-in-ear noise-canceling headphones, a high-end smartwatch S2, etc. The packaging also looks outstanding. However, it’s not green, but black.
Here, we should recall that the Xiaomi Mi 13 series will include up to 10 colors. So green is only one out of ten.
The Xiaomi Buds 4 earphones in the set are also quite distinctive. They are Xiaomi’s first semi-in-ear noise-canceling earphones that consider wearing comfort and noise-canceling functions. They should be ideal for those who don’t like in-ear headphones. At the same time, this time Xiaomi Buds 4 also continued the very distinctive opening method used before.
The rest of the posters released today refer to the vanilla version of the Mi 13 and its higher-end sibling. As you know, the former model uses a straight screen design, while the Pro version comes with a hyperbolic screen. Plus, the latter gets back the ceramic body option. It adopts nano-microcrystalline ceramic technology, and the light-glazed ceramic effect on the back shell is full of texture.
Lei Jun also talked about why Xiaomi regularly goes back to ceramics. Lei Jun mentioned that as early as 2016, Xiaomi took the lead in applying ceramic materials to smartphones. Later, it brought a phone with a quad-curved surface.
However, this is not a cheap material. Plus, it’s too difficult to work with it. But its super hardness and jade-like texture are irreplaceable by other materials.
According to the company, the Xiaomi Mi 13 series will come with a “technological nano-skin”, which uses innovative technological materials to solve the purchase concerns of being not resistant to dirt and easily changing color at once. You can even watch the official video, which shows that even if the back of the phone is painted with ink, spray paint, and other paints, it can be easily wiped clean with a paper towel.
