Today, MySmartPrice reported that Samsung would release the Galaxy S23 series in February. The lineup will include the standard edition, the Plus variant, and the Ultra version.

Among them, the Samsung Galaxy S23 is considered a flagship with a small screen. Thus, it’s in the same category as the Mi 13. Both will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. However, the Galaxy S23 uses an overclocked version of the chip, and its CPU clock speed has reached an unprecedented 3.36GHz. At the same time, the CPU clock speed of the regular version chip is 3.2GHz. Simple calculations show that the performance of the Galaxy S23 will be stronger than the regular version. However, the naked eye shouldn’t notice the difference.

In addition to the second-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, the Samsung Galaxy S23 will have a smaller screen size and battery capacity than the Mi 13. Specifically, the Galaxy S23 will sport a 6.1-inch display with a resolution of FHD+ and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The battery capacity is only 3900mAh, which is far less than the 4500mAh battery capacity of the Mi 13.

Samsung has never been famous for fast charging. Its fastest-charging smartphone is the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which supports 45W output. In this regard, we should remind you that Xiaomi has already surpassed the mark of 210W and dropped the charging time to a single digit, 9 minutes. Well, as for specific numbers, the Samsung Galaxy S23 will support 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless fast charging. The Xiaomi Mi 13’s standard variant will support 67W wired and 50W wireless charging.

In terms of photography, the Galaxy S23 will have a 50MP main camera, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The rear camera will support 3x optical zoom as well as OIS (optical image stabilization).
