Huawei Mall has opened a new product reservation event for the MatePad 11 tablet. It shows that the machine will be officially launched through an online press conference on July 6.
Also, at the moment, we know everything concerning the Huawei MatePad 11. It will have a 11-inch screen with a 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and no openings on the front. The refresh rate can bring a smoother control experience. The back uses a vertical dual-camera combination.
In terms of core, the MatePad 11 will come with a Snapdragon 865 processor and pre-installed with HarmonyOS system. This is also the first combination of Qualcomm chips and HarmonyOS.
However, previous information revealed that the Snapdragon 865 on the MatePad 11 does not support 5G networks or even 4G networks. It can only use WiFi connections and support the latest WiFi6 technology.
It is worth noting that although the network configuration is slightly regrettable, the price of the machine will be very competitive. The price shown in the Huawei official applet a few days ago is 2499 yuan ($386). We guess it refers to the 6GB+ 64GB storage version.
As for software, the Huawei MatePad 11 will also come with the newly released HarmonyOS 2.0 system. It supports the new Harmony desktop, multi-screen collaboration, hyper-terminal, global handwriting and other functions, which is currently one of Huawei’s core competitiveness.
This tablet is interesting not only for its hardware or special features but for the first combination of Qualcomm and HarmonyOS.
