On April 10 at 19:00, Xiaomi will unveil the new Redmi Turbo 3. Equipped with the industry-leading Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, it promises exceptional performance. Xiaomi has begun teasing the AI features of this new phone, sparking significant interest from the market and consumers.
Redmi Turbo 3 is set to introduce innovative AI air gesture operations. It leverages the advanced AI technology of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip. Additionally, it utilizes the upgraded AON front camera for 24-hour intelligent perception, enabling real-time response to user actions. Xiaomi proudly asserts this as a “unique AI strength in its class. Leaked information about the setting interface suggests that the beta version of Air Gesture will require users to be 15 to 40 centimeters away from the camera. This enables actions like waving left and right, waving up and down, and double-pressing palms.
Moreover, Redmi Turbo 3 enhances the AI magic elimination Pro function, boasting faster, more accurate, and smarter performance thanks to the flagship AI technology of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip.
In terms of hardware, the Snapdragon 8s Gen3 shares the same process and CPU architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen3. It utilizes TSMC’s 4nm process, comprising one X4 core with a main frequency of up to 3GHz, four A720 cores with a main frequency of 2.8GHz, and three A520 cores with a main frequency of 2GHz. The GPU is Adreno 735, globally launched by Xiaomi Civi4 Pro on March 21.
In design and display, Redmi Turbo 3 showcases Xiaomi’s meticulous attention to detail. With a right-angled frame design and available colors including gold, green, and black, it caters to various user preferences. The rear camera module adopts a triangular arrangement, while the four-curved back design ensures both elegance and excellent grip. Additionally, the phone boasts an ultra-thin body of 7.8mm and a weight of only 179g, ensuring comfort during prolonged use.
Furthermore, Redmi Turbo 3 features “the strongest 1.5K Chinese screen in the same class” with a peak brightness of up to 2400nit. Supporting the P3 wide color gamut and 68.7 billion color display, its instantaneous touch sampling rate reaches 2160Hz.
