Redmi, a sub-brand under Xiaomi, announced the launch of its new series, Turbo 3, to kick off the new decade. This new device, codenamed “Little Whirlwind,” is expected to meet consumers later this month.
The official poster reveals that Turbo 3 targets the mid-range market, marking the inception of Redmi’s new performance series. Experts predict it may feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, promising significant performance improvements.
In terms of design, Redmi Turbo 3 will adopt a straight-screen design without plastic frames, offering a cleaner, more upscale visual. Although the chin is slightly wider than the side bezels, the overall screen-to-body ratio remains comparable to the Redmi K70E, providing users with an immersive screen experience.
Moreover, a Xiaomi phone with the model number 24069RA21C recently passed the national 3C quality certification. This phone, manufactured by Xi’an BYD Electronics, supports up to 90W wired fast charging. Combined with previous leaks from digital influencers, we can confirm that this certified phone is indeed the upcoming Redmi Turbo 3.
As the successor to Redmi Note 12 Turbo, Turbo 3 has hardware configurations. Apart from the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, it also features a massive 5000mAh battery and a straight screen with a resolution of up to 1.5K.
