PandaFlash, a tech news source, recently tweeted about the Galaxy S25 Ultra prototypes being tested internally by Samsung, showcasing four different design options. These prototypes mainly focus on adjusting the frame and side designs, indicating Samsung’s ongoing efforts toward achieving higher screen-to-body ratios and a more refined appearance.

Looking at the revealed designs of the Galaxy S25 Ultra

  • Prototype 1 resembles the current Galaxy S24 Ultra but with finer details.
  • Prototype 2 adopts an extremely narrow frame design on all four sides, coupled with angular edges, presenting a more rugged style.
  • Prototype 3 narrows the frames on the left and right sides while slightly thickening the forehead and chin frames, creating a unique visual effect.
  • Prototype 4 also achieves extreme narrowing on all four sides but with rounded edges, giving a smoother and more rounded feel.

Apart from the changes in exterior design, there’s also curiosity surrounding the hardware configurations of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. Current leaks suggest that the S25 and S25+ will feature the Exynos 2500 chip, which promises enhanced performance compared to previous models. Additionally, these two models will retain the same 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN3 main camera as their predecessors, ensuring stability in camera performance.

Rumors are suggesting Samsung might procure camera sensors from Sony. Despite the current uncertainty surrounding the inclusion of these sensors in the Galaxy S25 series, this news undeniably heightens anticipation for Samsung’s ongoing innovation in the realm of photography.

Analysis suggests that one major selling point of the Galaxy S25 series will be the enlarged screen size, providing users with a more immersive visual experience. Furthermore, the addition of satellite communication functionality will be a highlight of this series, offering users more reliable communication support in special environments.
