Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is officially launched, offering three storage variants. Priced at 2999 yuan (about $415) for 12GB + 256GB, 3299 yuan (about $457) for 12GB + 512GB, and 3599 yuan (about $498) for 16GB + 512GB. The 16GB RAM + 512GB limited edition color comes in Kona leather and the mirror glass, costs 3599 yuan (about $498).
Design and Display
In terms of design, the phone features a front and back with four curved designs, offering four color options: Spring Green, Misty Pink, Breezy Blue, and Starry Black. It employs the “Aurora Gleam” craftsmanship, polished through 16 complex processes, and a dual-tone design. With a thickness of 7.45mm (7.75mm for Spring Green) and a weight of only 179.3g (177.6g for Spring Green).
This new model not only breaks through in performance but also undergoes a comprehensive upgrade in visual and imaging experiences. Civi 4 Pro features a 6.55-inch OLED display with a C8 panel from Huaxing Optoelectronics, offering a resolution of up to 1.5K and supporting a refresh rate of up to 120Hz with a peak brightness of 3000 nits.
Hardware
With the introduction of the third-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s flagship mobile platform into the Civi series, Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro significantly boosts performance. Powered by TSMC’s 4nm advanced process, it maintains the same CPU architecture as the third-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, ensuring robust processing capabilities while maintaining excellent power efficiency.
The standard configuration includes LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 flash memory. It features a 4184mm² large annular cold pump. In a real-world test of “Genshin Impact,” it achieves nearly full frame rate for 30 minutes. Furthermore, the new device consistently boots up 30 applications 20% faster on average. The average speed for installing applications is 36% faster. Also, the average speed for unpacking large 20GB files is 28% faster.
Cameras and Battery
Regarding imaging, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is equipped with dual 32-megapixel front cameras with AF autofocus. On the rear, it boasts a powerful triple-camera system, including a 50-megapixel Light Hunter 800 Leica main camera, a 50-megapixel two-times zoom portrait lens, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, delivering exceptional performance in landscape, portrait, and macro photography. Additionally, Civi 4 Pro integrates “Xiaomi AISP,” combining four major computational photography models to cleverly blend algorithms with optics, producing three-dimensional tones, lifelike colors, and cinematic layers.
In terms of AI computational photography, the new model’s parameter volume is 200% of the previous generation, with cumulative computing power reaching 277% of the previous generation, and a 69% increase in portrait continuous shooting speed.
The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro boasts a 4700mAh large-capacity battery for extended battery life. Additionally, it supports 67W fast charging to quickly power up your device. Moreover, the phone supports Bluetooth, under-screen fingerprint unlocking, NFC, and infrared functions, running on the Xiaomi MIUI operating system.
