Redmi has launched its Lite version projector with a suggested retail price of 999 yuan (about $138), but available at an inaugural price of 699 yuan (about $97). Currently, it’s up for pre-sale on platforms like Xiaomi Mall and Xiaomi Youpin.
In terms of brightness, the Redmi Projector Lite adheres to the brightness standards set by the China Electronic Imaging Industry Association and SGS authoritative certification. It has been measured to reach a brightness of 150 CVIA lumens. Additionally, the projector boasts a 1080P physical resolution and a projection ratio of 1.2:1, supporting a maximum projection screen size of 100 inches.
Equipped with a customized sealed optical engine and a super lens, the Redmi Projector Lite can achieve clearer and more vivid projection effects. The official claims the lifespan of the entire machine can reach up to 10 years. Furthermore, the projector integrates a ToF laser sensing module. This module supports various functions such as automatic image correction, adjusting the image based on body displacement, and achieving automatic focusing without any noticeable delay.
Utilizing AI intelligent algorithms for omnidirectional correction, ensures a square image projection instantly, regardless of side projection, body tilt, or body movement, without disrupting the viewing experience. In terms of interfaces, the Redmi Projector Lite comes with 1 3.5mm headphone jack, 1 HDMI (ARC) interface, 1 USB 2.0 interface, and 1 DC IN power interface.
Furthermore, it supports the Mijia App and dual-band Wi-Fi, enabling wireless screen mirroring from computers and smartphones. It has also passed SGS low blue light certification, filtering blue light in the 415nm-455nm range to protect users’ vision health.
