OnePlus officially launched its new smartphone, the OnePlus Ace 3V, with three storage options. They offer 12GB+256GB for 1,999 yuan (about $277), 12GB+512GB at 2,299 yuan (about $319), and 16GB+512GB at 2,599 yuan (about $361). Pre-sale is now open and will officially go on sale at 10:00 on March 25.
Design
Unlike previous OnePlus models, the OnePlus Ace 3V introduces a new “One” Deco design, featuring a stainless steel lens protection ring and aluminum alloy base in the Deco area, along with a glass back cover with polished curved edges, aiming to bring flagship texture to mid-range phones. It offers two color options: “Magic Purple Silver” with a metallic texture and “Titanium Grey” with a translucent appearance.
Hardware
The OnePlus Ace 3V utilizes the third-generation Snapdragon 7+ mobile platform, which incorporates the latest 8-series flagship architecture and process technology. Paired with this platform is a 9140mm² area VC heat dissipation plate. It offers storage configurations of up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM + 512GB UFS 4.0 flash storage.
Display
To protect users’ vision, the OnePlus Ace 3V specially incorporates Bright Eye Protection Technology. It utilizes a brand-new eye protection lighting material, developed under the guidance of ophthalmic experts. The phone supports a 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and DC dimming, coupled with AI deep learning of users’ screen usage habits. It provides a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz high refresh rate, along with a peak brightness of 2150 nits, ensuring a clear and comfortable visual experience in various environments. The OnePlus Ace 3V offers numerous innovative AI functions for mobile devices. AndesGPT includes features like one-click text-to-image and object removal in pictures through frame selection. Additionally, it enables quick Q&A and smartphone operation implementation. Targeting young users, the Ace 3V debuts with four AI features. These features allow users to practice speaking with AI-driven simulations of real foreign language tutors, simulate job interviews, organize thesis frameworks, and generate content for various platforms.
In terms of operating systems, OnePlus Ace 3V demonstrates its long-term software support commitment. OnePlus Digital Series users can expect four major version updates over the next five years, while Ace Series users will enjoy three major version upgrades within four years. OnePlus Ace 3V comes pre-installed with the latest ColorOS 14 system, providing users with a stable, smooth, and feature-rich operating experience. Official data shows that the Ace 3V achieves up to 72 hours of background activity for up to 29 apps under laboratory conditions. Additionally, it can be charged from 1% to 100% in just 26 minutes. Additionally, even after four years of use, the battery’s effective capacity can still be over 80%.
