OPPO Watch X Chinese Version Scheduled To Be Released on March 22

On February 29, OPPO unveiled the smartwatch OPPO Watch X globally. However, its Chinese version is yet to make an appearance. Today, tech blogger @数码闲聊站 leaked information indicating that OPPO plans to launch the Watch X in China on March 22. This eSIM watch is expected to become a flagship in the thousand-yuan range. Additionally, it will feature an eSIM functionality.

The OPPO Watch X boasts a 1.43-inch 466 x 466 AMOLED screen, with a dazzling brightness of 1000 nits. Furthermore, the watch features a stainless steel bezel and a fluoro rubber strap, offering two color options: Platinum Black and Mars Brown. The screen, protected by sapphire glass, claims to have four times the impact resistance of the OPPO Watch 4 Pro.

The watch runs on a combination of the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 and the Hengxuan BES2700BP dual-core processors, operating on both WearOS and RtOS operating systems. The OPPO Dual Engine Hybrid technology ensures a smart mode battery life of 100 hours and an impressive 288 hours in power-saving mode.

The product comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, along with an additional 4GB eMMC for RtOS usage. It incorporates an 8-channel heart rate sensor, a 16-channel blood oxygen sensor, and dual-frequency (L1 + L5) positioning, supporting Beidou and IP68 waterproofing.

In the Malaysian market, the watch costs 1399 Malaysian Ringgit (about $297), initially offered at 1299 Malaysian Ringgit (about $276).
