At the ongoing Xiaomi 14 Ultra phone launch event, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra Professional Photography Kit is officially unveiled. This new product, compared to the professional photography kit of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, sees a significant upgrade in functionality. The suggested retail price for this product is 999 yuan (about $138).
Unlike the previous Bluetooth connection, it uses a Type-C interface for connection, described by the official as “non-delay.” Additionally, it has a built-in 1500mAh battery, supporting 90W Xiaomi Turbo Wired Fast Charging. When the phone’s battery is below 80%, the controller automatically charges.
In terms of features, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra Professional Photography Kit introduces a customizable function dial and a recording button. The product also comes with a “colorful decorative ring,” offering black and white color options.
During last year’s Xiaomi 13 Ultra phone launch event, Xiaomi introduced a wireless photography controller supporting a two-stage shutter button and zoom function. This Xiaomi Professional photography Kit, priced at 799 yuan for the initial sale, included a tech nano-leather protective case, a 67mm adapter ring, and a lens cap.
