Xiaomi 14 Ultra Comes with A New Jinshajiang Battery

On February 22, Xiaomi is set to grandly unveil its latest flagship mobile phone, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. This phone will feature Xiaomi’s newly developed “Jinshajiang Battery,” breaking through traditional battery limitations and reducing size by 8% while boosting power to an impressive 5300mAh.

Reportedly, Xiaomi’s “Jinshajiang Battery” incorporates the latest silicon-carbon anode technology, boasting a 6% silicon content and an energy density of 779Wh/L. Compared to conventional batteries, this results in a 17% increase in battery life. Consequently, users can expect a longer and more stable experience with this innovative technology.

Furthermore, Xiaomi 14 Ultra has made significant advancements with its newly designed “Dragon Armor Architecture.” This design markedly enhances the phone’s bending resistance, drop resistance, and wear resistance. Specific values include 2 times the bending resistance of the middle frame, 10 times the screen drop resistance, and 6 times the back panel wear resistance, undoubtedly amplifying the phone’s durability.

But that’s not all. Housing a new Leica optical system, including Leica four cameras with six focal lengths, and a redesigned optical path, it significantly increases the amount of light entering. Additionally, Xiaomi has upgraded its imaging brain to “Xiaomi AISP” and utilized the full computing power of the SoC to achieve a comprehensive large-scale model of imaging algorithms. The portrait engine upgraded to a “portrait large model,” delivering more realistic light and shadow, bokeh, and grayscale retouching effects simultaneously.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra also comes equipped with a new Leica Summilux optical lens and a second-generation one-inch image sensor, Sony Lightyu LYT-900. Featuring a second-generation stepless variable aperture with a maximum aperture of ƒ/1.63, it also boasts a 3.2x portrait lens (75mm ƒ/1.8) and a 5x periscope telephoto lens (120mm ƒ/2.5), both utilizing IMX858 sensors.
