Distinct from Phone (1) and Phone (2), Nothing Phone (2a) showcases a different camera arrangement, with its iconic Glyph light module confined to the upper half of the device. Observing the renders, it appears that the phone’s frame material is likely to be plastic.
Earlier, Nothing’s official social media account stated that they would reveal information about the processor used in Nothing (2a) at 6 PM Beijing time. Later, CEO Pei Yu clarified that the processor is not the previously rumored Dimensity 7200 but rather the Dimensity 7200 Pro, which is expected to resemble the customized Dimensity 7200 Ultra used in Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
Regarding performance, Nothing claims that the Dimensity 7200 Pro processor achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score of 741,999, providing superior performance compared to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. They also introduced Smart Clean, a storage technology similar to competitors’ rejuvenation techniques, ensuring flash performance remains close to new even after prolonged use, enhancing user experience.
