Xiaomi Mall recently introduced the Xiaomi outdoor camera CW500. You can currently pre-order the product for 299 yuan (about $42). The release date for the product is scheduled for February 21.
The new outdoor camera boasts several key features. These include 3K ultra-clear image quality, dual-band Wi-Fi6, AI humanoid/vehicle detection, and a security chip.
Equipped with a 5-megapixel camera and an f/1.6 large aperture lens, the Xiaomi outdoor camera CW500 delivers 3K ultra-clear image quality. Even when zoomed in, the details remain sharp. Additionally, it supports HDR high dynamic video, preventing overexposure in strong light while preserving details in low light. Featuring a large aperture lens design and intelligent full-color night vision, the camera produces color images in extremely low-light conditions. It can identify human figures at night and automatically activate the fill light.
With its dual pan-tilt design, the camera offers flexible rotation and multiple viewing angles. The IP66 professional dustproof and waterproof support ensures stable operation in various weather conditions, be it wind, dust, rain, or snow. The camera detects humanoid/vehicle presence within the monitoring range, triggers an alarm message, and records a video on the Mijia APP. This ensures the continuous safety of the property.
Moreover, Xiaomi outdoor camera CW500 supports three storage methods: local + cloud + NAS. It can be suspended, side-mounted, or pole-mounted, adapting to a variety of outdoor installation scenarios.
