On the morning of February 19, Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing warmed up the Xiaomi 14 Ultra through Weibo and disclosed the camera parameters.

Lu Weibing stated, “Light is the origin of images. The more light that enters, the richer the layers.” He further introduced the Mi 14 Ultra, highlighting its significant increase in the amount of light entering. With the new Leica Summilux optical lens, a second-generation one-inch image sensor, and a maximum aperture of f/1.63, the device promises enhanced light levels. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will utilize the new Leica Summilux optical lens for a redesigned optical path, increasing the amount of light entering the entire focal length by 136%. Additionally, the main camera will feature the second-generation one-inch image sensor LYT-900, accompanied by a second-generation stepless variable aperture with a maximum aperture of f/1.63.
Shifting gears, Lu Weibing, who previously emphasized the importance of truth in humanistic images, expressed that layers bring out the essence of real images. Xiaomi14 Ultra, with its advanced optical system and the integration of optical and computational photography. Mi 14 Ultra has the Leica Summilux flagship dual telephoto, marking the onset of large aperture dual telephoto for mobile phones. This includes a 75mm upright telephoto supporting 3.2x optical zoom and a 120mm periscope telephoto supporting 5x optical zoom.
Additionally, Xiaomi officially declared that it will unveil the Xiaomi 14 Ultra at a press conference on February 22 at 7 pm. In addition to the new phone, Xiaomi also unveiled a new tablet Xiaomi Mi Pad 6S Pro, suggesting the possibility of unveiling more products.
