Redmi A3 has officially launched in India, featuring the MediaTek Helio G36 4G processor. The 3GB + 64GB version is priced at 7299 rupees (about $87). Transitioning to the next option, the 4GB + 128GB version costs 8299 rupees (about $99). Moving on to the third variant, the 6GB + 128GB version is available for 9299 rupees (about $111).
MediaTek Helio G36, released in February last year, uses a 12nm FinFET process, with eight Cortex-A53 cores, a maximum frequency of 2.2GHz, and supports up to 8GB of LPDDR4X memory. The PowerVR GE8320 GPU, boasting a maximum frequency of 680MHz, equips it.
Redmi A3 comes in three versions: 3GB RAM + 64GB storage, 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. It also supports expansion with a maximum of 1TB SD card. With a 90Hz LCD panel, a resolution of 1650 x 720, and Corning’s third-generation Gorilla Glass providing protection, the phone showcases a 6.7-inch display.
In terms of cameras, it has an 8-megapixel AI dual-camera setup at the back and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. For charging and battery life, the Redmi A3 has a built-in Type-C charging port, supporting a maximum input power of 10W and housing a 5000mAh battery.
